Dr. Safratowich graduated from the University of Minnesota with his DVM in 1973. He is originally from Park Rapids, MN. He is married to Eve, and together they have two children, Heather and Bryan. They have four grandchildren, Isabelle, Jackson, Rhys and Brynn. He has one dog who is his best buddy. Dr.Don enjoys hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and spends many hours finely manicuring his lawn and trees. He looks forward to his annual elk hunting trips to Colorado and visits with his grandkids. Dr. Safratowich is a member of NDVMA, SDVMA and AVMA. His Veterinary interests lie in large animal work, especially Obstetrics and Fertility testing.
Dr. Henderson received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN in 1992. She received her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 1997. Dr. Henderson worked in Hobart, IN for 5 years as a small animal practitioner before moving to the Dakotas. Now she lives on a cattle ranch in Lodgepole, SD with her husband Wade. She has two step-sons, Jamie and Jordan. Her pets are: Jack, a border collie/Australian shepherd cross, who is an excellent cattle dog, George, a tiger-striped cat who runs the ranch, and an indoor kitty named Elsa.
Dr. Henderson loves to read, hike, and watch movies. She also enjoys photography and going on 4-wheeler rides, especially when there is a beautiful sunset. Her main interest is still small animal medicine and surgery. She really enjoys challenging medical cases and has a special interest in ultrasonography. Dr. Henderson belongs to the North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association, the South Dakota Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Ethan graduated from South Dakota State University in Brookings in 1994. He graduated with his DVM from Iowa State University in 1997. He is married to Denise and they have two children Cassie and Alec. The family has a cat named T who loves a bird in his mouth. Ethan and Denise enjoy traveling the state following their children's sporting events. He enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing, cooking and camping. His special interest is in bovine ultrasounding, but mostly just enjoys working with the local ranchers and their families. He is a member of the SDVMA (District 3 Representative), NDVMA, AVMA, Academy of Veterinary Consultants, and American Association of Bovine Practitioners. He recently finished his term as Hettinger Chamber of Commerce President and remains active within the Hettinger community.
