  • Dr.
    Bleaux Johnson

    Dr. Bleaux Johnson received a B.S. in Animal and Range Sciences from North Dakota State University in 2004 and received his DVM from Iowa State University in 2008. He is married to Janel and they have 3 children (Treyson, Kenley, and Brinley). They have three dogs: Cohen, Ruger and Taya. Dr. Johnson enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time outdoors with friends and family. His special interests are in large animal, especially cattle production and equine medicine. Dr. Johnson belongs to NDVMA, SDVMA and AVMA.

    Jenna Innes

    Dr. Innes graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Agricultural Business. She recieved her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Innes is originally from a ranch just outside of Gillette, Wy. She has three dogs, Dally, Carson, and Riggin, who attempt to be working cattle dogs, but are much better at chasing rabbits, antelope and any other moving object that they're not supposed to. She also has two very curious horses, Deets and Gus, that keep her occupied. When she's not busy with her various animals, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball and about anything outdoors. Dr. Innes is a member of SDVMA, NDVMA, AVMA and American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Her veterinary interests include surgery, small ruminants (sheep and goats) and large animal reproduction and obstetrics.

  • Dr.
    McCauley Vailes
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Vailes grew up on a small farm in Augusta County, VA. Her family raises Boer goats and Southdown Babydoll sheep, along with an assortment of other animals. She received her Bachelors of Science and Master of Science degrees in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech. She is a 2021 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. McCauley enjoys interacting with producers and educating others about the food animal industry. She is passionate about bovine reproduction and ruminant herd health management.  Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Vailes enjoys most outdoor activities, including hiking, running, and water sports.

    Lindy West

    Dr. West spent 3 years at North Dakota State University as an undergraduate in Microbiology before graduating from Kansas State University with her DVM in 2012. After this, she worked in Chariton, IA at a mixed animal practice. She is originally from Menoken, ND; and she and her husband, Steven, moved back to his hometown of Hettinger in late 2013, where he could pursue farming and ranching. Their young daughter, Hatti, is becoming quite interested in their blue/red heeler, Gus (who seems to handle this rather well). Dr. West's special interests are large animal medicine and surgery, particularly equine lameness, dentistry, and wellness. When not working, she enjoys team roping, riding her horse (Jester), playing with Hatti and Gus, and helping where she can on the farm. She is a member of the AVMA, NDVMA, SDVMA, American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and a State Liaison for the AAEP .
